For the rest of the week, we just relaxed and took it easy. We checked out a few malls in the area. We didn't do many water activities or drove the Road to Hana since Baby C would not be able to handle it. However, we did have Baby C in the pool for the very first time. He was scared at first, but eventually loved it. His floating device is so cute. The next time we come back, we'll try to do more activities since he'll be older. For now, this vacation was just a time for rest and relaxation.
As for the plane ride, Baby C did very well. On the way to Maui, he fell asleep for 2 hours, so we just entertained him the rest of the way. On the way home, he was awake the whole time, so kept him occupied with toys, snacks and the iPhone. On both flights, passengers complimented on how well behaved he was...so we were happy. He did cry at least once, but it was because he was hungry.
Can't wait for our next vacation!
He did great on the plane!! I can't wait to go to Maui with Baby J one day.
